How can anyone come into your shop and not buy anything? I've had the good fortune to visit your shop just once, on a visit to Monterey in the summer of 2003. I spent about $100 in there, and would have spent more if I had had it with me. I do a lot of traveling, and I haven't found a store to rival yours anywhere, even in pre-Katrina New Orleans.

You were extremely helpful with the sauces, and I purchased at your recommendation this tomatillo salsa that was out of this world. It's not on your Web site, and I wish I had saved the label so I could remember what it's called, because it was fabulous.

However, the next time I come to Monterey, I plan to come prepared, with an extra suitcase, just to enjoy your shop.
